  1. Product selection for increased sales

    • Purchase store product in appealing packaging. For example: clam shell or blister packaging.

     

    • Pick colorful packaging when possible.

     

    • Avoid purchasing products in bulk for the store. Bulk products are less appealing and tend to show dirt, do not have attractive color, become shop worn sooner and do not have the ability to have present consumer information on them. Save the bulk products for shop use and inventory in a storeroom.

     

    • Offer new products. The consumer likesto see what products are new for their RV life style. Keep in mind this is your customers fun time and they are willing to spend money to increase their enjoyment.

     

    • Offer the good, better, best concept for products and use signs to show the differences. This is the best way to increase profit. The tiered prices will give the customer choices and value for purchasing a higher priced item.

     

    • Offer products that will make life easier for your customer. For example, power tongue jacks, Snap brackets for fifth wheels, power awnings.
